Long Branch, NJ, October 28, 2024 – Infectious Disease specialist Andrew Lee, M.D., who was praised as a prime example of how doctors, nurses and leadership can work together for the best, safest patient experience, has been named Monmouth Medical Center’s October Physician of the Month. Additional comments received in the nomination for Dr. Lee, Section Chief for Infectious Disease who first joined the MMC Medical Staff in 2006, were:
“Dr. Lee is always so wonderful to work with. He is fantastic with his patients, spending time to sit and explain in detail to answer all questions. He works very well with the nursing teams to ensure communication between care providers and is also very clear in his notations and communication with other doctors on the care team.”
“Dr. Lee is a supportive member of the Healthcare-Associate Infection (HAI) Champion Committee and provides excellence physician input.”
