Over 725,000 New Jerseyans face hunger every day due to food insecurity. During the winter holiday season, food insecurity is felt more acutely, as it is a time to gather with loved ones and enjoy festive meals together. Each year, RWJBarnabas Health seeks to make it easier for New Jerseyans in need to come together over healthy holiday meals. In 2023, our sites proudly served nearly 20,000 community members across the state through the distribution of fresh produce boxes, food baskets, poultry and grocery gift cards.
