Breast Imager Alexander King, M.D., has been named MMC Physician of the Month for March. Presenting the award in the Jacqueline M. Wilentz Comprehensive Breast Center is Chief Medical Officer Kenneth Granet, M.D. They were joined for the presentation by breast center team members and hospital leadership.
Long Branch, NJ, March 25, 2024 –Monmouth Medical Center (MMC) breast imager Alexander King, M.D., has been named March Physician of the Month. An RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group physician who joined MMC in 2016 and serves as the RWJBarnabas Health Southern Region’s Breast Imaging Lead Interpreting Physician, Dr. King was praised as an amazing doctor, mentor and team player.
“Dr. King has guided hundreds and hundreds of women through the process of diagnostic breast imaging, biopsy and caner diagnosis with true compassion for each and every patient,” his nominated stated.

- “He has a real knack for putting a patient at ease with his calm demeanor and is always willing to spend as much time as needed to answer patients’ questions. His timeliness in getting results back to patients is impressive. He is also very respectful and genuinely kind to our patients and the breast center staff. He is a great asset to the facility.”
