Long Branch, NJ, June 21, 2024 – Internist Doantrang T. Du, M.D., who serves as Internal Medicine Program Director, is Monmouth Medical Center’s (MMC) June Physician of the Month. Dr. Du, an RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group physician who has been on staff at MMC for 20 years, was praised as a fantastic clinician and teacher. Among the comments received in her nominations were:
“Dr. Du is an outstanding teaching attending and tireless administrator directing the Internal Medicine Residency Program. Monmouth Medical Center is a better place because of her dedication and talents.”
“Her patients love her, and she sets an excellent example for patient care!”
“Outstanding work as IM residency director. Dr. Du truly cares for the welfare of residents.”
In addition to her role as Internal Medicine Program Director, Dr. Du serves as Co-Director and Adult Program Director for MMC’s Comprehensive Cystic Fibrosis Center, which recently earned reaccreditation from the National Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
