ED tech Sandy Finch has been named MMC Employee of the Month for July. Gathering with Sandy for the presentation are team members from the Emergency Department and HR and hospital leadership.
Long Branch, N.J., July 10, 2024 – Emergency Department technician Sandy Finch, who was praised as a true asset to the organization, has been named Employee of the Month for July. In nominating Sandy, who has devoted his entire 32-year career at MMC to the Emergency Department, ED Assistant Clinical Director Dave DeMatteo had these great things to share:
“Sandy has consistently demonstrated exceptional performance in his role as an Emergency Department Tech. His hard work, dedication, and attitude have made a significant impact on the team and have contributed to our department running smoothly night after night. One example of Sandy’s exceptional performance is when he is the only tech in the department and still manages to get everything done. In addition to doing what is required as a tech, at night, he also becomes a transporter, which is literately two jobs in one. This is all a result of Sandy’s drive and commitment to making this department succeed. In addition to his tech skills, Sandy is also a great team player. He is very knowledgeable, a great asset and always goes out of his way to help others, and his positive attitude and sense of humor have made a real difference in the workplace. I believe Sandy deserves recognition for all his achievements and his contribution to the ED team. He is a true asset to our organization and I am confident that he will continue to make a positive impact on our department.”
