Jul 2, 2024 Dave West, Partner at The Fortis Agency, Elected to Children’s Specialized Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees

Dave WestChildren’s Specialized Hospital Foundation (CSHF) is pleased to announce the election of David West, LUTCF, Partner at The Fortis Agency, to its Board of Trustees for a three-year term.

“Dave and I met by chance two years ago at an event for our Foundation hosted by Todd Frazier in Seaside Park,” said Alissa Memoli, President and Chief Development Officer, CSHF. “Since that first meeting, I knew that Dave and his wife Christine needed to be part of the CSHF team. I am thrilled to have Dave join our Board of Trustees and thank him for his incredible generosity and commitment to our mission.”

The CSHF Board of Trustees includes individuals from a broad spectrum of industries and disciplines, each member offering exceptional business acumen and unique experience to foster the Foundation’s growth and success. West’s experience in the financial services industry will enhance the Board’s expertise as they work together to provide financial oversight, secure philanthropic support, and ensure the organization has adequate resources to execute strategic plans.

His energy and commitment to our mission will significantly impact the lives of kids and families in our community.” A Hall of Fame Division 1 athlete, West is no stranger to winning. Today, his wins come in the form of being an exceptional husband and father of four, helping his clients at The Fortis Agency succeed, and giving back to his community.

West is a leader in his industry, nationally recognized for his expertise and leadership. Passionate about giving back to the community, West and the partners of The Fortis Agency started Fortis Foundation in 2018 and have given over $150,000 to charities since its inception.

When asked about making this commitment to CSHF, West stated, “Children’s really found me and my family which was a great surprise. I could not think of a better organization to put my time and commitment toward. I hope to help Children’s Specialized meet the growing need for services and help more kids.”
