Hospitalist Punit Jariwala, M.D., has been named MMC Physician of the Month for January. Presenting the award on the B5 Medical-Surgical Unit is Chief Medical Officer Kenneth Granet, M.D. They were joined for the presentation by B5 team members and hospital leadership.
Long Branch, NJ, January 22, 2024 – Monmouth Medical Center (MMC) hospitalist Punit Jariwala, M.D., has been named January Physician of the Month. An internal medicine physician who works as a part of the MMC hospitalist team caring for inpatients, Dr. Jariwala was praised for his compassion, energy and motivation.
Among the additional comments received in his nominations were:

He is an excellent listener and makes a conscious effort to keep the lines of communication open with the interdisciplinary team.
