Nurses can be great mentors to fellow nurses, as demonstrated by Christine Meo, who we proudly introduce here as part of our We are RWJBH Nurses series.
Christine has taken a leadership role at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway to help nurses develop skills, address common challenges, and provide real time coaching and feedback.
“Throughout my experience in nursing I found my love for helping to develop and mentor new nurses,” says Christine, who credits her mentors for identifying her potential for leadership and fostering her growth. “They encouraged me to take advantage of tuition reimbursement, return to school for a Masters, and pursue educational opportunities toward a leadership role.”
