For Newark Beth Israel Medical Center CEO Darryl Terry, the ribbon-cutting Tuesday to celebrate the opening of the hospital’s new 17,500 square-foot, glass-enclosed lobby represents more than just an architectural masterpiece – it shows the medical center’s greater connection to the community it serves.
