Whose mouth doesn't water at the thought of fries? For a healthier version you can eat guilt-free anytime, choose a favorite vegetable and get to slicing!
Ingredients
- Your choice of: sweet potato, zucchini, carrots, turnips, or parsnips
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 tsp grated parmesan
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Other optional seasonings: garlic powder, chili powder, cayenne pepper, or cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375° F.
- Spray large baking tray with cooking spray.
- Wash veggies and slice into fry shapes.
- Mix vegetables and remaining ingredients in a large bowl to coat all veggies.
- Spread evenly onto baking tray – do not overlap veggies.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or longer to get desired crispiness.
- Let cook for 5-10 minutes & enjoy!
- Tip: Soak sweet potatoes in water overnight or a few hours before baking to help them cook quicker & make them softer.
