Miral Sadaria Grandhi, MD, FACS, a fellowship-trained and board-certified surgical oncologist, recently joined the medical staff at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Somerville, an RWJBarnabas Health facility. Dr. Grandhi will see patients at the hospital’s Steeplechase Cancer Center in Somerville as well as Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey in New Brunswick. She also serves as Assistant Professor of Surgery for the Section of Gastrointestinal Surgical Oncology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and as Associate Program Director for the Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship Program at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.
Dr. Grandhi’s clinical interests include liver tumors, bile duct cancer, gallbladder cancer, pancreatic tumors and cysts, colorectal cancer, gastric tumors, and minimally invasive surgery, including robotic surgery.
Dr. Grandhi earned her medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana and completed her residency at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado. She completed her fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She is board certified in general surgery and complex general surgical oncology.
