John DollWest Orange, NJ, November, 2020 – President and Chief Executive Officer of RWJBarnabas Health Barry H. Ostrowsky has announced the expanded role and title of John Doll to Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, effective immediately. In this role, Mr. Doll will oversee the expansion and reorganization of the system’s finance division and chair a strategic planning council of executive leaders across service lines and sectors. He will continue to report to Mr. Ostrowsky.

In his expanded position, Mr. Doll will assume responsibilities for the system’s Medical Group, as well as the integration of the Behavioral Health Service Line with Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care. Within the newly-created Strategic Council, he will guide fellow c-suite leaders in sharing best practices and priorities, ensuring that the system’s resources are appropriately dedicated. He will maintain responsibility for all aspects of the system’s financial operations, including treasury, revenue cycle, supply chain and the information technology division.

Throughout his tenure at the system, Mr. Doll has served in various capacities within corporate finance, decision support, and revenue cycle operations. As Chief Integration Officer, he oversaw the post-merger consolidation of Barnabas Health and RWJ Health System to form RWJBarnabas Health. Prior to joining Barnabas Health in 2010, Mr. Doll held leadership positions at a large regional health system and a health care information technology and consulting firm. He began his career in Ernst & Young’s Healthcare Audit and Consulting practice.

Mr. Doll has served on many internal and external boards and is active in several community organizations. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Mr. Doll holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minor in Economics from the University of Delaware. He is a resident of Scotch Plains, New Jersey.
