Often following treatment for cancer, patients find that they need support that is different from their needs while in active treatment. To offer assistance, The Saint Barnabas Cancer Program Department of Psychosocial Support Services will present a free Cancer Survivorship Lecture Series entitled “Project H.O.P.E. (Helping Our Patients Excel).”
“Many individuals find that additional information and support is helpful as treatment is ending”, explains Angela McCabe, LCSW, OSW-C, Director of Psychosocial Support Services and Community Outreach at Saint Barnabas. “This program was created to address the wide variety of medical and emotional concerns patients might have following treatment.”
Each of the following programs will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in the Human Resources Training Room, located on the First Floor of the RWJBarnabas Health Corporate Office, 95 Old Short Hills Road, West Orange, NJ 07052. Parking is free and light refreshments will be provided.
