Friends and neighbors contribute to help RWJUH Rahway reach out to patients in need
Help for medicine and medical supplies
The Allergan Foundation has donated $10,000 to support the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) Rahway Helping Hands Fund, which was established to help uninsured and underinsured patients afford prescription drugs, walkers, wheelchairs, transportation and therapy. The Allergan Foundation, the charitable foundation of Allergan plc, a global pharmaceutical, device and biologics manufacturer, also made contributions to a number of other RWJBarnabas Health facilities.
Support for breast cancer patients
The Joanne Wilkerson/Point2Prove Walkers enjoyed a planning meeting at Topgolf Edison to prepare for their fundraising efforts for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To date, the Joanne Wilkerson/Point2Prove Walkers have raised more than $5,000 for breast cancer patients treated at RWJUH Rahway. The funds are used for patients in need during the most difficult time of their treatments.
