LONG BRANCH, NJ – Monmouth Medical Center will participate in the fifth annual Go Red for Heart Health event on Saturday, February 17th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pilgrim Baptist Church in Red Bank.
This event is focused on educating the community on heart health, spotlighting heart disease and strokes in women. Julie Master, M.D., a cardiologist from Monmouth Medical Center, will speak on how hypertension affects your heart health and what you can do to improve the outcomes and your quality of life. Additionally, community members will also be able to complete a free health screening.
Go Red for Heart Health is sponsored by Black Professional Women, Monmouth County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and Concerned Black Nurses with participation by Monmouth Medical Center.
Go Red for Heart Health will take place at the Pilgrim Baptist Church, 172 Shrewsbury Avenue, Red Bank. Registration is not required for this free event.
