Curriculum
Family Medicine Residency Program
Resident schedules include twelve rotations per year corresponding to the
calendar months. The emphasis progresses from the inpatient to the outpatient
setting. The RWJUH Somerset Family Medicine Residency Program fully supports
the ACGME standards for clinical experience and education.
During office sessions, residents have the opportunity to perform many
office-based procedures, including but not limited to IUD insertions,
colposcopy, skin biopsies, endometrial biopsies, joint injections and
skin cryotherapy.
