Elective Angioplasty
An angioplasty is a procedure in which a small balloon is inserted to open a blocked artery and restore blood flow to the heart. A heart attack can occur if that blood flow becomes completely blocked.
Highly-experienced interventional cardiologists on staff at Community Medical Center are available to perform elective angioplasties. These are the same trusted physicians who have performed hundreds of life-saving angioplasty procedures on an emergency basis.
For further information about the angioplasty procedure, please speak with your physician. To read more about our cardiac services, visit our page.
