Lab Services
We take pride in the above average quality of our lab work. Not only are all of our technicians and pathologists highly trained, but we also provide opportunities to further their training and expand the range of our lab services. Our clinical labs offer the following services:
- Blood banks. Our blood bank allows us to store donated blood and quickly supply patients in-need with transfusion services.
- Clinical chemistry. This section of the lab performs general chemistry, toxicology, therapeutic drug monitoring, blood gases, electrolytes, and endocrinology testing to support critical care and emergency medicine services.
- Hematology and coagulation services. Here we test blood samples to diagnose and treat hematologic disorders. A pathologist is on staff 24/7 for consultation.
- Microbiology testing. This department performs studies on microorganisms to improve medical care for infectious diseases.
- Surgical pathology. Tissue samples and other extracted specimens are evaluated by our Histology department in order to confirm or rule out a diagnosis.
- Point-of-care testing. We train doctors and nurses to perform certain lab tests so that patients do not have to make a second trip to the laboratory. This allows patients to receive diagnosis and medical advice even faster.
All of our laboratories are fully accredited by the College of American Pathologists and the American Association of Blood Banks. We also offer specialized services like cytogenetics that are difficult to find in New Jersey. Contact us to find out which services are available at laboratories near you.
