Division of Infectious Disease
Located at the Family Treatment Center, the Division of Infectious Disease delivers comprehensive, state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment services for a wide range of infectious diseases including:
- HIV/AIDS
- Lyme disease
- Bacterial meningitis
- Respiratory syncytial virus
- Complicated bacterial and viral diarrheas
- Sepsis
- Infectious rashes
- Hepatitis B and C
Staff at the Family Treatment Center includes two physicians who are board-certified in pediatrics and one with additional certification in allergy/immunology; two social workers, two nurse practitioners, and a nurse coordinator. Services of the Division include a Maternal Child Health Clinic HIV/AIDS program that allows mothers and babies two years and younger to be treated under one roof and primary and subspecialty care for children diagnosed with HIV or AIDS.
