Thomas E. Hackett, DO

Dr. Hackett earned his medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, N.J. and completed his residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, Calif. Dr. Hackett went on to complete a fellowship at The Milton S. Hershey Medical Center at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, Pa. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and gynecologic oncology.
Dr. Hackett is a member the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He serves as the chief of gynecologic oncology for Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, N.J. and Community Medical Center, Toms River, N.J. He's a current faculty member at RWJ Medicine and was formerly a faculty member of Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md. and Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Hackett has also been honorably discharged as a Commander in the U.S. Navy and was the former head of gynecologic oncology and assistant residency coordinator at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, Calif.
