Pratik Patel, MD, FCCP, Director of Interventional Pulmonology and Pulmonary & Critical Care Fellowship Program Director
Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, Dr. Patel also studied exercise physiology as an undergraduate at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He later completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. He serves as the Medical Director of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program and pulmonary exercise testing.
Dr. Patel’s clinical interests include critical care medicine, specifically critical care ultrasound, and he is currently investigating outcomes of thrombolysis for acute pulmonary embolism. He has presented results of his previous research at the national meetings of the American College of Chest Physicians.
