Dr. Armstrong graduated from Rutgers – NJ Medical School. She received her training in Emergency Medicine at Morristown Medical Center, where she also was Chief Resident, and then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Afterwards, she remained at Morristown for 7 years, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, along with being a member of the Resident Review Council. She left Morristown to go to Capital Health Systems, where she was the Pediatric Emergency Department Director, and Assistant Emergency Department Director. Committed to medical education, she was thrilled at the opportunity to join CMC in starting an Emergency Medicine Residency. As the Medical Student Clerkship Director and Pediatric Emergency Department Director, she enjoys teaching and working with medical students and residents. She recently completed the ACEP Teaching Fellowship, and has enjoyed putting that training to use to enhance her educational skills! She is board certified in both Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Emergency Medicine, and has been in practice for over 10 years.
