Jeffrey S. Lander, MD

Dr. Lander, a board-certified cardiologist with expertise in sports cardiology and cardiac imaging, received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine.
After completing both residency training in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Lenox Hill Hospital, New York City, Dr. Lander returned to New Jersey where he was born and raised. He holds multiple board certifications, including cardiovascular medicine, nuclear cardiology, adult comprehensive echocardiography, and cardiovascular computed tomography. He holds the certification of Registered Physician in vascular interpretation. He has authored the American College of Cardiology’s Preparticipation Cardiovascular Screening for Adolescent and Young Adult Athletes module, published several articles, as well as presented multiple research papers on a national level.
Dr. Lander frequently lectures, is actively involved in teaching and providing talks for the American Heart Association and has been appointed Incoming President of the NJ Chapter of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Lander is the team cardiologist for Seton Hall University. He is also Co-Director of Sports Cardiology for RWJBarnabas Health.
