Affiliations Bio Dr. Estin specializes in the treatment of brain tumors as well as spinal disorders. He has particular expertise in the use of endoscopic techniques to remove pituitary tumors at the base of the brain through the nose. He is well-versed in the use of advanced technology such as image guidance systems and stereotactic radiosurgery (i.e. GammaKnife, Cyberknife) for the eradication of brain tumors and trigeminal neuralgia. Dr. Estin has advanced training in minimally invasive techniques for spinal surgery including the use of tubular portals for microdiscectomy, spinal fusion, and kyphoplasty . He also has expertise in artificial disc replacement surgery in the cervical spine. With his main office in central New Jersey and his faculty position at Columbia University in New York City, Dr. Estin has helped to establish a center of excellence for neurosurgery in the communities of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Dr. Estin is a graduate of New York University School of Medicine. He performed his internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, Boston, and his residency at Tufts Medical Center, also in Boston. -
