Philosophy of Care
Dr. Coda offers comprehensive primary and preventative care for newborns through geriatric patients and believes in a strong partnership between patients and their physicians. She provides up-to-date evidence-based care and strives to assure that patients, and their families if desired, are closely involved in their own medical care through a shared decision-making process. Her goal is to help patients have a clear understanding of their medical conditions to promote healthy living, prevent disease, and to care for long term medical conditions.
Clinically, Dr. Coda’s areas of interest include preventative primary care and the transition of adolescent patients into an adult health care model. Her research interests in Uganda included the use of bedside ultrasound as a diagnostic tool in a resource-limited setting.
