Dr. Amy Shute is a board-certified family medicine physician. Dr. Shute earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She then completed an internship and residency in family practice at the Somerset Medical Center. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians, and the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society.
Over my 28 years of practice I have most enjoyed taking care of my 4 generation families, reminding me of the value of being a true family practitioner. I try to remind every patient that growing old is a privilege denied to many.
