How to Apply
General Information
All applications will be accepted and processed through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). We will be offering all 12 categorical positions via the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) match.
Eligibility criteria
An applicant must meet one of the following qualifications to be eligible for appointment:
- Graduation from a medical school in the United States or Canada, accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME)
- Graduation from a college of osteopathic medicine in the United States, accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
- Graduation from a medical school outside of the United States or Canada with a valid certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.
We utilize ERAS for selection of our applicants. We do not accept any information or applications by fax or email. Only information given through ERAS will be utilized in selecting candidates for an interview.
Program Requirements:

2 Standardized Letters of Evaluation (SLOE) from Emergency Medicine Faculty
**For the 2020-2021 application period - 1 SLOE is acceptable** - All international medical school graduates must pass USMLE steps I & II: CK/CS or COMLEX steps I & II. Priority will be given to applicants who have not had more than 1 attempt on all USMLE or COMLEX exams.
- International medical graduates must be ECFMG-certified to be considered for interviews.
- Recent medical school graduate (within 5 years preferred).
- US clinical experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Visa Sponsorship
Our goal is to choose exceptionally good residents who will excel in training and in all their endeavors after residency.
We do sponsor J1 visas for international medical graduates. We do not sponsor H1B visas.
