Nicole Martinez, RN, MSN, NE-BC, LBBH, DNP-c, Vice President, Chief Nursing Information Officer

Nicole Martinez began her career with RWJBarnabas Health as a unit clerk and has served in a variety of progressive leadership roles in the organization. Nicole is an outcome driven executive, providing strategic vision and leadership to drive transformation in health care delivery leveraging data, information, knowledge, and wisdom.

With over 20 years of nursing, finance, and clinical informatics experience, she is a passionate advocate for elegant solutions to enhance the clinical workflows, while ensuring the patient and family are the center of every interaction. She has consulted and lectured nationally and internationally to advance the informatics discipline to provide safer, patient centered, quality care. Additionally, she is a passionate educator teaching graduate level informatics courses and is a clinical preceptor for informatics students across multiple disciplines. She is also a doctoral candidate.
