Orthopedic Surgery Residency
Monmouth Medical Center
About the Program
New Jersey’s oldest orthopaedic residency program has been an integral part of Monmouth Medical Center since 1945.
Residents receive academic instruction and clinical training from a staff of more than 30 orthopaedic surgeons who use Monmouth as their primary inpatient hospital.
By becoming part of the medical team and participating in the department’s active research program, residents learn the latest in orthopaedic advances and techniques. The uniqueness of the program affords early surgical exposure and unparalleled operative experience. Upon completion of the five-year program, they have the skills and knowledge needed to begin an orthopaedic practice or to enter fellowship training.
Residency and fellowship programs training at RWJBarnabas Health benefit from the resources and interprofessional opportunities available through the Rutgers Health institutional sponsorship.
