The Department of Radiology at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center offers a Women’s Imaging Fellowship.
The Fellowship emphasizes mammography; ultrasound; breast MRI, including conventional and MRI guided Interventional breast procedures; Stereotactic core; ultrasound directed core; galactography; ancillary breast imaging; OB/GYN ultrasound and gynecologic MRI. There are five attending faculty in the breast imaging section. Time is available for clinical research.
The faculty is fellowship trained and the technology is state-of-the-art. Over 22,000 mammograms and 2,500 interventional breast procedures are done annually.
The goal of the fellowship is to provide a tailored teaching experience giving the fellow greater responsibility as they progress throughout the year.
The fellowship follows the curriculum of the Society of Breast Imaging.
