Come join us and experience the physical, emotional and spiritual benefits of Yoga Nidra. Literally translated as yogic sleep, Michelle Gerdes (experienced, trauma-informed yoga and meditation teacher, Reiki energy worker and owner of Princeton Doula Center) will explain in easy-to-understand terms how the ancient meditation practice of Yoga Nidra guides brain waves into optimal states for relaxation and rejuvenation. Then she will lead you through this specific type of guided relaxation that has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, promote better sleep, and foster a profound sense of joy and well-being. Come find out why 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra can feel like 3 hours of sleep! Bring a towel or yoga mat and anything else you need to be comfortable in meditation, chairs available.
